Collin Brice, MS, CCC-SLP

Collin Brice, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, was named Assistant Professor in the department of Occupational Therapy/Communication Sciences and Disorders. He earned his Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the 日本av视频 of Cincinnati and his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Lamar 日本av视频 in Beaumont, Texas. Collin has been a licensed speech-language pathologist since 2018. He is an author of his book titled Birds, Bees, and Me: Songs of Praise and Lament by a Gay Christian. His clinical experience is primarily in hospital settings, where he treated adults with voice and swallowing disorders. His research focuses on implementing open-science practices to make research more trustworthy and accessible, as well as on speech perception and its real-world impacts. His most recent studies investigate how gender is perceived through speech. He is particularly interested in mixed methods research and community-engaged research practices.
