Carla Enriquez, Ph.D., DPT, OCS

Carla Enriquez, Ph.D., DPT, OCS was named Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy. She earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Sciences from Trident 日本av视频 International, a Master of Science in Health Sciences from Rutgers 日本av视频, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers 日本av视频. Prior to joining the 日本av视频 of 日本av视频, Dr. Enriquez served as Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at Kean 日本av视频 and previously held faculty appointments at Stockton 日本av视频 and Dominican 日本av视频. She also holds an appointment as Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins 日本av视频 and maintains an active clinical and research portfolio with RWJBarnabas Health, where she serves as Principal Investigator on studies focused on pain neuroscience, rehabilitation outcomes, and precision rehabilitation. A board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Dr. Enriquez's scholarship focuses on chronic musculoskeletal pain, pain neuroscience, quantitative sensory testing, psychosocial determinants of health, health disparities, and precision rehabilitation. Her research examines how psychological, behavioral, and neurophysiological factors interact to influence pain, disability, and treatment outcomes, with the goal of developing individualized, mechanism-informed rehabilitation strategies.
