Athletics

Corey Posa, MSN, RN

Corey Posa, MSN, RN, was named Instructor in the Department of Nursing. She earned both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Duquesne �ձ�av��Ƶ and is currently enrolled in a Nursing PhD program at Barry �ձ�av��Ƶ. Corey has worked at UPMC Magee-Women’s Hospital, specializing in the care of patients with complex obstetric conditions. She has also worked as Nurse Navigator for the Perinatal Addiction Medicine Service. Her expertise spans high-risk obstetric nursing and perinatal addiction medicine, where she has supported patients with substance use disorders and implemented harm-reduction strategies to improve outcomes for both mothers and newborns. Passionate about nursing education, Corey regularly lectures and precepts future nurses, with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based care for vulnerable populations.
